A tragic accident unfolded off the Egyptian coast on Thursday morning when a tourist submarine carrying Russian vacationers sank near the resort city of Hurghada, resulting in six deaths and sparking a major rescue operation. While authorities have not yet confirmed the exact cause of the incident, preliminary reports indicate the vessel "crashed" during its descent. Survivors described a sudden jolt followed by water rushing in, leaving passengers trapped in a terrifying situation. The submarine’s distress signal triggered an immediate response from local authorities, and rescue divers were dispatched to the scene.
